Since Term 2 started, We started looking at ecological buildings like ones with double -glazed windows, solar panels, heat pump and grass on the roof. I learned that when heat rises to the top, grass will keep the heat in. Technology started in week 3 and there were two things to do at technology, wood working & sewing. I was put into wood working first and we made boxes which I used to put my Wii stuff in. I liked technology a lot for my first time and learned that there is a lot of things to do to make a box. Somewhere in the middle of term 2, we had to make a science fair project, a speech we had to present to the class, and a inquiry that I worked with Jaydan, Busy term! I made the cross country team because I made the top 10 people. my friends Max, P.J and Jaydan made the team as well but I couldn’t go because I sprang my leg. In week 8, we wrote our autumn poems and I liked my poem for some reason. In Te Reo, we have learned to say the months of the year, the numbers to 10 and greetings. Fitness we do every 2nd day and I am really tired after every fitness section. We performed in the 3rd month of term 2 a fairy tail and an odd fairy tail. I was of course, little red and I moved to Cinderella and it was weird. performing is not my type of thing to do. My speech was "The Worlds Sneakiest Bank Robbers" and I had to present it to the class and it was not easy to present. Hands shaking, voice out of tune and not looking at the audience, man it was scary! Here is my speech:
Worlds Sneakiest Bank Robbers
The worlds sneakiest criminals are very sneaky, You do not want to underestimate how sneaky a criminal can be.
Gerald Blanchard is one of the worlds sneakiest bank robbers. Gerald was
robbing a bank (which is not told to us) with his partner James who acted as lookout for Gerald. James had set up a transmitter behind an electrical outlet, a pinhole video camera in the thermostat and a cheap baby monitor behind the wall for Gerald. They were all ready to go. Except, next door a Walmart employee was mad at people parking in their lot at night and wrote Gerald’s license plate down and Gerald had used his real name to rent the car. The cops arrested Gerald the night the bank was being robbed.
Here are some other Robbers that are clever to rob a bank.
At 3pm on the 28th of April, a man came in to the Broad beach Bank of Queensland and handed a note to a female attendant saying the man was armed with a gun in his pocket. “He gave the note over and said he had a gun, wanted money and to be quick” said duty officer Inspector Geoff Palmer. The female attendant handed over the money to the man and left quickly. Not long after, the alarm was raised. Other people were unaware what was going on and started to evacuate the building. Once the police came, they interrogated the women and told her what he looked like and when he came in. The bandit claimed to be armed, but no gun was seen. The police were not really sure if he had a gun or not, they just wanted to fined him and put him behind bars.
Conrad Zdzierak (White) robbed several banks in Ohio while wearing an expensive $600 to $700 mask to make him black. The police were completely fooled by Zdzierak. After robbing banks, Conrad stayed the night at a motel just out of Ohio. Conrad’s Volvo was later found by a couple of cops heading north of Ohio to Michigan and was splattered by red dye that was concealed inside the bag of money. They then found Conrad hiding inside the motel bathroom. The police asked him to had over the money to take back to Ohio and was taken to jail straight after.

Our inquiry was presented to the class and I did it with Jaydan (the inquiry is on my home page). It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be but we managed to get through. My science fair was "How A NASA Rocket Works & History" and it was the best thing I had ever done and I got a zero on just because I wasn't a investigation. Dumb I know. I can't believe This is my last week at school and I am so going to miss my friends and classmates and in 6 months time, I will be able to see them again.
